    Course Description
The FAIR Act directs Federal agencies to issue each year an inventory of all commercial and inherently governmental activities performed by its employees. This course provides expert guidance on the requirements of the FAIR Act in completing the annual inventory including the challenge and appeals process. It also discusses the Agency's responsibilities once the inventory has been submitted and provides a logical segue to competitive sourcing and the A-76 process of conducting competitions. The course provides expert insight on FAIR Act implementation guidance including the requirements of OMB Circular A-76, the President’s Management Agenda, and OMB-mandated competitive sourcing goals.

    Course Topics
This 4 hour seminar is designed to assist Federal agencies who are new to competitive sourcing, the FAIR Act, and the A-76 process by providing the attendees with practical information that can be used to satisfy requirements of the President’s Management Agenda and OMB-mandated competition goals. Course attendees will be better equipped to develop agency-specific competitive sourcing strategies, to develop competitive sourcing program guidance to aid in executing strategies, and to develop sound business “packages” suitable for competition.
