Terms and Conditions Open Enrollment Courses

Open Enrollment Defined:
Open Enrollment courses are any Paradigm Technologies provided course offered at a specific date and location where enrollment is open to any individual(s) that desire to attend such course whereby these terms and conditions apply.

Pricing:
All upcoming Open Enrollment courses (and associated pricing) are advertised on our training website at: Paradigm Technologies Training Centers

No inference should be made that the price of an Open Enrollment course will remain unchanged as Paradigm Technologies reserves the right to change Open Enrollment pricing without notice. However, Paradigm Technologies will not change the price of an advertised Open Enrollment course after a scheduled date has been advertised on the website above.


Registration/Confirmation/Payment Information:
Attendees may register in advance for any course advertised on our website by following the registration procedures posted. The following policies apply to registration:
 
Confirmation:
Paradigm Technologies will issue a confirmation number upon receipt of payment information (see Payment Information below). Attendees are not confirmed for a course until Paradigm Technologies has issued a confirmation number. Attendees must present the confirmation number upon arrival to the class.

Payment Information:
Payment information is required to obtain a confirmation number. However, Paradigm Technologies will not charge any credit card until the first day of the course. Acceptable forms of payment for Open Enrollment courses include:
  • Mastercard*
  • Visa*
  • American Express
  • Check (made payable to Paradigm Technologies)
* Credit cards will not be charged until the first day of class.

Cancellation
 
Paradigm Technologies Cancellation:
Paradigm Technologies reserves the right to cancel any scheduled Open Enrollment course due to low registration. If Paradigm Technologies does cancel a scheduled Open Enrollment course due to low registration, Paradigm Technologies will issue a cancellation number no later than two (2) weeks prior to the course. Therefore, it is advisable to make fully refundable airline reservations when scheduling trips before the two-week mark.

Attendee Cancellation:
Up to three (3) weeks prior to course: Attendees may cancel their registration in an Open Enrollment course up to three (3) weeks prior to the start date of the course with no penalty.

Within three (3) weeks of course: If an attendee cancels registration within three (3) weeks of the start date of the course, Paradigm Technologies reserves the right to charge a $100.00 cancellation fee for credit card purchases. Paradigm Technologies will not issue refunds for cancellations made within three weeks of the start date of the course when paid by check; however, Paradigm Technologies will issue a credit voucher equal to the cancelled enrollment price for the attendee to use at a future confirmed open enrollment course. If the attendee chooses to apply the credit voucher to a course with a higher registration fee, an equitable price adjustment will be made payable by the attendee at the time of registration. If a confirmed student does not attend a class, and does not cancel, Paradigm Technologies will not refund registration fee and will charge the credit card for the full amount.

 
Terms and Conditions Customer Site Courses

Customer Site Defined:
Customer Site training refers to any training course Paradigm Technologies delivers at a customer provided facility whereby these terms and conditions apply.

Pricing:
All upcoming Customer Site courses (and associated pricing) are advertised on our training website at: Paradigm Technologies Customer Site. The following pricing policies apply to all Customer Site courses:
 
GSA Pricing:
Paradigm Technologies provides GSA pricing under MOBIS schedule #TBD to qualified purchasers for training courses as indicated on Paradigm Technologies Customer Site web page.

GSA Pricing Outside Continental US:
Paradigm Technologies may elect not to provide GSA pricing for customers outside the Continental US where travel costs may be significantly higher than CONUS. Should this occur, Paradigm Technologies will provide a non-GSA priced quote for the requested training.

Inclusions:
Paradigm Technologies Customer Site Pricing includes:
  • All Instructor Labor, Travel and Related Expenses
  • Course Materials and Distribution to One Destination
  • One (1) set of course materials for each student
Changes:
Paradigm Technologies reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Scheduling a Customer Site Course:
The following shall apply when scheduling a Customer Site course:
 
Quotation:
Paradigm Technologies will provide a formal quotation of the requested training to include:
  • Pricing
  • Course Syllabus, Topics, and Agenda
  • Duration
Payment:
Payment is required prior to the conducting of the requested training. Acceptable forms of payment for Customer Site training include:
  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • American Express
  • Check
  • Purchase Order
Time Required:
A two (2) week lead-time is required to produce and ship course materials. Therefore, all Customer Site training must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks prior to the desired date. Paradigm Technologies will not produce or ship any materials until payment is received.

Customer Responsibilities :
One point of contact (POC) shall be assigned by the customer requesting the Customer Site course that will interact with the Paradigm Technologies representative. Customer responsibilities for all courses are as follows:

    Paradigm Technologies Requires:

  • Projection System for use with PowerPoint Presentation (NOTE: Instructor will bring their own laptop to connect into projector)

  • Dry erase white board or butcher paper pads with easel
  •  
  • Markers (dry-erase for white board)
  •  
  • Lectern with stool
  •  
  • Provide information to Paradigm Technologies such as:
         - Where class will be held (Bldg #)
         - Directions from airport to class location
  •  
  • For COMPARE Training Only: Customer provided computers required
     
  •  
  • If class is to be held on an installation, contact instructor and Pass & ID to arrange a Visitor Pass for the 4-day period.
  •  
  • Meet instructor approximately 1 hour before class is to begin at Pass & ID or 2 hours if a military installation is in “Threatcon C or D”. Escort instructor to classroom
  •  
  • Make administrative announcements to the class such as:
         - Restrooms
         - Designated smoking areas
         - Messages and emergency phone numbers
         - Break area
         - Food in classroom

    • Scroll down the Download page and find the install file download that you need (i.e. Version 1.6 or other newer version).
       

    • Click on the file you wish to download to download it to your computer. If the version change summary is displayed, click on "continue to Download" in the upper left corner to proceed with file download.
       

    • Run the install program and follow the on screen instructions
       

    • After installing the software, double click the software icon on the desktop to verify that the correct version is installed.
       

      • NOTE: Do not attempt to download/run software from a LAN as software will not load and/or operate properly. In cases where classroom computers are not directly linked to the Internet, it is recommended that an individual computer equipped with a CD Writer AND access to the Internet be used to download and “burn” a CD of the required software files. The CD can then be used to load the software onto all other classroom computers. Please note that when copying a file from a CD to a computer, you must open the properties for the file after it is copied and uncheck the “Read Only” attribute.
