Mercy for the Needy

I volunteer with Woodbridge Evangelical church "Mercy Ministries" to feed the needy in our area and the Washington D.C. area.  On June 28th shower trucks and 100 volunteers traveled to the D.C. area so the homeless could receive food, clean clothes and a shower.    I filled the food closet full 300.00 worth, and this fed several families.  I also donated" Alcoholics Anonymous" Big Books for those who were interested.  Not all homeless have drinking or drug problems.  Most are mentally disabled and have been ignored by the state.  I am grateful that I am part of a team that pays the love forward.  I know if I keep giving, I will never need.  No matter what!
